Hue tourism golden week launched to attract more tourists

Hue Monuments Conservation Centre will provide a range of promotions for tourists in Golden Week, which is run from December 24 to 30, said director Phan Thanh Hai.

On the promotional package, tourists can use a single ticket they purchase to visit the Royal Palace, Cancer Lang (known as the Tomb of Khai Dinh) and Hieu Lang (known as the Tomb of Minh Mang) to enter the other monuments that require tickets.

Meanwhile, a group of 10 guests will receive a discount of 20 percent for visiting the site, and those who enjoy music in concert at the Theatre department Browse Market Street will receive half-price ticket.

Center will hold a ceremony to welcome two million visitor Hue Relic this year and the visitor 30000000 because it has been recognized as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO in 1993.

On this occasion, the prize will be awarded to three prominent travel agency that brings most visitors to the site.

Moreover, a conference will be held on the sidelines of the week to review the operation of tourist services at the site.

In Jan-Nov period, the center has received more than 1.8 million visitors, including nearly 846,000 international visitors, creating 129.72 billion dong ($ 6.1 million) net sales, exceeding plan year by 3.77 percent.
