Vietnam travel - According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the number of visitors to Quang Ninh in October 2014 is estimated at 404,000 people, an increase of 14.9% over the previous month.
The total number of visitors in the first ten months of 2014 is estimated at over 6.4 million people, achieving 84% of the year's the plan. In particular, foreign visitors to Quang Ninh is estimated at 1.9 million, and visitors staying overnight, 3.2 million, an increase of 3% over the same period last year. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 314.7 billion VND for October, and 4,100 billion VND in the first ten months, equivalent to 72.4% of the year's plan.
The tourism industry is continuing to deploy more measures to stimulate domestic tourism, as well as expand the international tourist market, while promoting information and communication and improving the quality of human resources.
